Review 2nd grade writing assessment

reviewed scores from second grade and divided up assessments.
Not many advanced writers per assessment...surprised us based on number of high students in grade level (GT)

we would like to look at the "bubble kids" from proficient to advanced and pp to proficient and focus on their writing needs. We need the time to regroup these kids for focused instruction.

Set monthly/6 week writing goals and form intensive writing groups based on outcomes

Deb shared how 5th grade was doing it in the past...each month there was a focus point for writing instruction and the monthly writing assessment related to the goal. Work was graded from rubric but only in that targeted goal area.
See if Deb, Linnea and Liz could help with intensives.
